SUMMARY, REFLECTION, THOUGHTS
The poem is kind of a lyrical poem. This has been my favorite song of all songs. It just teaches me a lot of things. Like a place called Magic Shop.
The lyrics teach the listeners (me) to ease my own sufferings and manifest more on what I desire in life. Magic Shop is a place where you go to exchange your fears into something more positive.
In the lyrics, it says ‘So show me, I’ll show you.’ Meaning, show me your pains and I’ll show you great things. It’s really on the point. It’s very clear and self-explanatory. It also says in the poem, ‘You gave me the best of me. So you’ll give you the best of you.’ It’s true. I give people the best of me whether it will be for my family, friends, and school stuff. And if I can give them the best of me, I can also give myself the best of me. It’s really great how they didn’t say ‘You gave me the best of me. So WE’LL give you the best of you.’ Because whether people give me the best of them, nothing will get equal with the best of me.

It is so amazing how clear they said it. That whole paragraph explains a lot about the Magic Shop. I made it. I reached my goal. While I was doing it, I wasn’t aware that I was the only one doing it. I thought someone was helping me. But the lyrics said, no, no one is there with me. I am the one who made it and no one else. And nothing else can help me the way the Magic Shop helped me.
The words on the lyrics are the words I wanted to hear from someone. But I found it in one song. One song changed my life and how I think of how life, happiness, and pains actually work around.
Besides the meaning, I also love the rhythm and the melody of the song, quite emotional. But either way, the lyrics make the song very great. And whoever wrote the lyrics has a good way of interpreting or delivering a piece of advice and has a good impact on the listeners. That is why I stan BTS. They have a good impact on my mental health through their songs and how they communicate to their fans.
Dear Diary,
Today is 4/26/2021 and I am now working on assignments 3 & 4. Time flew really fast here. I’m scared of doing nothing, that's why I’m writing this diary. To be honest, I really love doing this project, I’m thankful I picked ‘make a website’ because this made me really productive and creative. Well, it’s one thing I really wanted to do. Besides that, I really enjoy doing the projects. Like reading and listening to websites and videos about literature, poems, and authors. I really felt like my knowledge expanded.
I learned that there is a specific way to write an essay and to write a poem and to write a diary. Most of the writings nowadays are informal writings or should I say informal texts. Like this one I’m writing. Informal. And sometimes I just don’t capitalize things that I should when I’m writing a text.
I really feel like I should write more formally so that I can sound and look professional. I don’t want to go to college when I talk informal to my professors and classmates. That would make me look too childish. So right now, I’m going to work more on my language and speaking skills.

Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star

Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I wonder what you are!
Up above the world so high,
Like a diamond in the sky.
When the blazing sun is gone,
When he nothing shines upon,
Then you show your little light,
Twinkle, twinkle, all the night.
Then the traveler in the dark
Thanks you for your tiny spark,
How could he see where to go,
If you did not twinkle so?
In the dark blue sky you keep,
Often through my curtains peep
For you never shut your eye,
Till the sun is in the sky.
As your bright and tiny spark
Lights the traveler in the dark,
Though I know not what you are,

SUMMARY, REFLECTION, THOUGHTS
As a little toddler, I’ve listened to Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star many times before. It was sung to me by the people raising me, I’ve sung it to myself, it’s been a part of my childhood. But I’ve never known about the whole poem.
The meaning and the message was clearly delivered. When it’s night time, you can clearly see the twinkling stars. When it’s day time, all we see is the sun. And while there’s no sun in the night, the little stars never dim until the sun rises again. There’s never darkness for us humans. Even if it’s a little light, a traveler in the dark will never see where he will go if it’s not for the little stars.
The first two lines and last two lines connect to each other.
“Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I wonder what you are!”
“Though I know not what you are,
Twinkle, twinkle, little star.”
I don’t know what a star is. I don’t know what danger or good it’s gonna bring me. Since it doesn’t harm me but gives light to me, I’ll let it just twinkle. No matter how far they are from us, they never let us have entire darkness. The sun is a star but it needs to revolve around us. The sun gives us stars so that we won’t feel alone.
On the other hand, the poem has a great structure too. Every two lines sound alike and the whole poem has imagery. Even if the song ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star’ didn’t exist, the poem already has a rhythm and whoever reads it already knows the meaning just by looking at the title.

SUMMARY, REFLECTION, THOUGHTS
The poem is also a lyrical poem. Composed and written by BTS.
The meaning of the whole poem is basically how darkness also looks beautiful. Most people when they hear the word dark, the first thing that comes from their mind is fear and coldness. But this whole song changed the meaning of light and darkness, both of them have a great meaning. There was also one of their songs that said “A shadow is a mistake left by an angel.” Shadows are dark and mistakes are things we might regret. But the last sentence has something special that I’m still figuring out how to say it. “A shadow is a mistake left by an angel.” I am an angel and I make mistakes, whenever I make mistakes, I leave a shadow. I always have a shadow which means I make a lot of mistakes but then in the song ‘Mikrokosmos’ they talked about how shadows and darkness looks beautiful on me and I need to embrace it. Everything is just connected to each other and everything makes sense.

If there were 7 billion people in the world, there would also be 7 billion angels and 7 billion shadows. Therefore, the world is full of shadows left by an angel. The whole album with the songs is just so stunning. The words that they picked are very precise and every line just hits.
Since it was originally written in Korean, I couldn’t see the structure of the words, lines, and vocabulary. But when I listen to the song, it has repetition and the last words sound alike in Korean.

My Mister
My painting is titled
Venti
I wanted to paint a painting that describes a lot of emotions that's why I painted 'Venti'. I also tried to connect it on the scene of my recital which is a sad scene.
I painted ‘Venti’ during one class time.
It looks depressing because the color is grey, black, and white. There was a big moon with seven other little moons. The big moon is kind of like me whenever I don’t get to make my mom happy in a day or if I disappointed her that day. The seven little moons are sad because if the big moon is sad, they are also sad. If the big moon is happy, the seven little moons are also happy. In my real life, whenever I get sad, things around me also get sad. Things around me like a simple bottle of water, a wall, a coin, or a food.
But why a moon? It’s because it’s the only white circle in our solar system. Well, Mars is red and it’s the only red planet in the solar system but I think it’s kind of rare to find a white moon or a white planet or even a white meteor. Most of the space objects are light but not white. The moon is white but it has gray parts and dark shadows. Whenever I look at the moon, I always see its moonshine, the opposite of sunshine, and it’s white and bright. I think that was a not expected answer…
